
Scholarship Fund
The scholarship funding for the BSAFE program is intended to provide every child a cost free opportunity to learn safer bicycle riding skills in a controlled environment.
Scholarships will be awarded throughout the public school system and will be targeting students in class 3.
To successfully run each program the scholarship cost will be $140 per child. There will be a maximum of 10 children per class.
This cost will cover:
• T-shirt upon sign up.
• Administration fees.
• Instructor and equipment necessary for safe riding.
• Maintenance of equipment.
• Graduation certificate
• Helmet to be awarded to graduates
Community-spirited companies and individuals are invited to support the programs. Scholarship donors of $1400 or more will be recognized by:
- Name/logo placed on left sleeve of offical BSAFE student t-shirts
- Name/logo displayed on Donors page with link to respective web site
- Banner name/logo displayed at sponsored class during lessons
- Name/logo displayed on certificate of completion
- Press release at the beginning and completion of each program
- Two half page ads in local paper for start up and completion of program with name or logo displayed indicating which school has been supported
