Althea Scatliffe and Francis Lettsome Classes benefit from new 2 hour lesson format

The latest classes to begin the BSAFE program have switched to a 2 hour session because I feel that the students start absorbing more as they get a little bit tired. Then they can focus on the drill that has been set up.   What I do now is have the group follow the leader for a good fifteen minutes to tire them out just enough so they are able to focus on the task at hand.  Previously I would just be obtaining the attention I desired and the class would be over.  Now I actually manage to get them to admit they are a wee bit tired...but that doesn't get them off the bike!  Well maybe for a quick drink of water.

So far I have been happy with the new format and I plan to continue into the New Year with it
