Active representation in the Eighth District

Ms. Betty Chalwell on behalf of Hon. Dancia Penn as represenative for the 8th district shows the students of Willard wheatley where to go in one of three classes Hon. Penn has sponsored for the BSAFE program.

Honourable Dancia Penn as the Representative for the Eighth District has provided scholarships for the entire Class 3 student body at Willard Wheatley Primary School in East End.

 “I am very grateful for the complete support Honourable Penn has given Willard Wheatley” said Chris Ghiorse director of the BSAFE program. “As the Representative for the Eighth District, Honourable Penn wanted to make sure that the schools in her District could be involved with the BSAFE program.”

 A special thank you goes out to Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church which has allowed the BSAFE students of Willard Wheatley to use their grounds to practice on.

 Althea Scatliffe Primary has reached its 10^th and final class of the year. They have again been sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers.

 “I have been running BSAFE for nearly 6 months and I am at a loss for words to express how generous the support throughout the community has been. I think it is a great statement about the BVI, when all business and government sectors show concern for a child’s well being and safety. I feel BSAFE is one step in that direction and I thank everyone for their continued support.”
